It's a prismacolor inventorying kinda night! I had no idea I had this many. I've only been using a small bag of about 15, but I recently unpacked a box of them that had been in storage. A lot of these have been packed away since CA/WA years?!

People have been asking about my "music ninjas" a lot recently. It started years ago (9? 10? I still have yet to finish adding older pieces to my "new" website!) with a music book from 1901 that I found in my parents' basement. I had some markers with me at the time (for stickers :), and I did a bunch of drawings on book pages that night. It's fun to read the lyrics of the song and see what inspiration comes. Some are pretty straightforward, while others are merely ninja's musings on the title. It's been a great way for me to do art on the road, when it's not as easy to cart paints and brushes with me. And I love looking for old music books at thrift stores and charity shops.

I've done a number of music book commissions and am always up for more! I can find a page from a book I have or you can send me your own sheet music. See my commission page for more details. Now... back to that marker-testing....
