i realized this when i saw gum in the bottom, mid-sip.

been awhile since i’ve posted anything on here! busy times… Good ol’ Turtle just rolls right with it… her little purring, furry box-car kitty shape always looking for a lap :) This piece will be one of a few i plan (hope!) to do for the Variety Show in June at Halogen. We’ll see how many i can cook up in the next few weeks! Enjoy the almost summer weather! :)

unrelated to my last post, we were in vegas for a quick business trip earlier this week and i decided the flamingo is my favorite :) How could you not love the pinky goodness???? i love the old photos they have inside, too, of the original hotel and casino from the 40’s. That era fascinates me and i love thinking about the history of the place. Ah, art deco-y goodness…..

another painting going down to sf. Will have prints of it available in my etsy shop soo, tho! stayed late at the gallery that night…. turns out the next day Beau proposed…. who knew?! :)

feeling so behind! so many things to catch up on and new shows to get ready for…
it’s all good, but where does the time go?? the weather is getting nice and i wanna start hanging outside more … do some camping and go to the ocean!
actually, the mention of ocean and the sea turtle remind me i need to get some pics off my phone that i took at the aquarium today. sea star spawning! yay, springtime :)

another beautiful day! spent the morning cleaning out the upstairs storage/office space at the gallery. It’s gonna be much more livable soon…. lots of sweat and dirt first :)

i have neck-back today.
seems i am prone to pulling my neck while sleeping.
weird.
that’s what chris and i used to call it in chicago. haha

it’s kinda like where it hurts along on side of your spine if you move your neck at all? yeah.

oh my i love the sesa cow! i want to do a big painting of one soon. maybe for “the good” show, as i think who could dispute that?? :)

it was finally time to paint over the technical difficulties mural the other day. bye-bye ninja and turtle! :(
But saying goodbye has to be done sometimes, right? :) Time to make room for the new… and tomorrow show is going to be well worth it! Winsome Playground opens tomorrow night at 6pm.

if only i could get rid of this sickness…. been coughing for 2 weeks now! It really is exhausting…
But i think we’ll get it all done in time :)

they took a couple pics last month but we got bumped… i forget who it was for…. and then the other rainy day they took a couple more. They just got delivered today :) what a fun surprise. (I thought it was BW? maybe that’s new?) no article or anything. Just our mugs. fun :)
